With the Caribbean Premier League coming up in June, there’s been a lot of talk going around about the series. Let’s explore the stadiums which are going to host the entire series. Each stadium has its own unique feature. Take a look and see how many of these facts you weren’t aware of.

1. Kensington Oval: Did you know that in 2008, the Institute of Structural Engineers recognised this stadium as one of its ‘Structural Awards’ winners. The award was given in the category of ‘Awards for Sports or Leisure Structures.

2. Beausejour Cricket Ground: This stadium is said to be amongst the top 10 most picturesque stadiums of the world.

3. Queens Park Oval:  It is presently the stadium which holds the largest seating capacity in West Indies. Its count goes up to 25,000.

4. Providence Stadium: Do you remember the iconic moment when Sri Lankan bowler Lasith Malinga became the first bowler in the history of international cricket to take four wickets in four consecutive balls? It happened right here!

5. Warner Park: You will be amused to know that some seats in this stadium have been recycled and believe it or not, they’ve become more comfortable now!

6. Sabina Park:  An interesting fact about this stadium is that earlier, a breath-taking view of the Blue Mountains used to be seen, opposite to one of the stands. It was certainly a spectacular view!
